Legacy Pageant Aligns Beauty, Power, and Purpose in New Era of Black Excellence
Washington, D.C. — May 15, 2025— Miss Black USA made headlines this week when its reigning national titleholders, Kennedy Lucas (Miss Black USA) and Eternity Hickman (Miss Black USA Talented Teen), were featured guests on The Sherri Shepherd Show, bringing poise, purpose, and Black girl magic to daytime television.
The queens not only captivated audiences with their grace, but also engaged in a fun and empowering segment where they taught Sherri how to pose like a true pageant queen. Eternity’s high energy and Kennedy’s quiet strength struck a powerful balance, leaving viewers inspired and smiling.
For over 38 years, Miss Black USA has crowned more than just beauty queens—it has cultivated a lineage of leaders, advocates, and changemakers.
